Dental Bonding

Dental bonding uses tooth-coloured composite resin shaped directly onto the tooth and hardened with a curing light. It is conservative — usually no drilling — and can be completed in a single visit.

Who may need this service

  • Small chips or rough edges on a front tooth
  • Minor gaps between teeth
  • Slightly discoloured spots that whitening cannot remove

Treatment process

  1. Step 1

    Shade selection

Composite shade is matched to your natural tooth.

  2. Step 2

    Etching and bonding

The surface is gently roughened and primed.

  3. Step 3

    Sculpting and curing

Composite is shaped and cured layer by layer.

  4. Step 4

    Polishing

The bonding is polished to a natural sheen.

Benefits

  • Often completed in one visit
  • Conservative — minimal removal of tooth structure
  • Natural-looking when polished correctly
