Root Canal Treatment
A root canal is a procedure that removes infected or inflamed nerve tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and shapes the canals, and seals them. It relieves pain and lets you keep the natural tooth.
Who may need this service
- Patients with severe, lingering tooth pain
- Sensitivity to hot or cold that lasts after the stimulus is removed
- A pimple-like swelling on the gum near a tooth
Treatment process

Diagnosis
Examination, sensitivity tests and an X-ray confirm whether root canal therapy is needed.

Numbing
Local anaesthetic ensures the tooth and surrounding tissues are fully frozen.
Step 3
Access and cleaning
A small opening is made through the top of the tooth; the canals are cleaned and shaped.

Canals are filled with a biocompatible material and sealed.
