A dental implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once the bone heals around it, a crown, bridge or denture is attached to restore chewing and appearance.

Treatment process

The implant is placed under local anaesthetic, usually in under an hour per implant.
Step 4
Healing
Bone bonds to the implant over several months.
Step 5
Final restoration
An impression or digital scan is taken and a custom crown, bridge or denture is fitted.
