Dental Veneers

A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or composite bonded to the front of a tooth. Veneers can correct shape, colour and minor alignment issues to create a uniform smile.

Who may need this service

  • Discoloured teeth that do not respond to whitening
  • Worn or uneven front teeth
  • Multiple small chips or gaps that bonding alone cannot resolve

Treatment process

  1. Step 1

    Smile design

Photos, models and a digital mock-up help plan the final result.

  2. Step 2

    Preparation

A small amount of enamel is removed (porcelain veneers); composite veneers are usually no-prep.

  3. Step 3

    Lab fabrication or chairside placement

Porcelain is made by a dental laboratory; composite is sculpted directly.

  4. Step 4

    Final bonding

Veneers are bonded into place and polished to a natural finish.

Benefits

  • Highly aesthetic results
  • Stain resistant (porcelain)
  • Long-lasting with good care
